Tübingen MUN 2026

The TMUN was a challenging but rewarding first encounter with MUN conferences for our group. Since only a small part of our delegation attended, and none of us had ever participated in a conference before, the experience was especially formative and motivating.

From the start, the conference required quick adaptation, but the supportive environment and the Chair’s clear guidance made it easy to follow debates and participate confidently. Early on, we were also informed that the local press would be present, adding an even more professional tone, while the atmosphere among delegates remained open and collegial. After a competitive agenda-setting, the committee focused on the Promotion of Sustainable Tourism, sparking substantive discussion and negotiation.

Despite being first-time delegates, our contributions were highly recognized with two Best Delegate awards and one Best Engagement prize, which we are incredibly proud of. Beyond formal sessions, the Tübingen delegation’s potluck created a relaxed space for networking during our breaks, and although we missed the social event due to time constraints, we still made valuable connections—including with delegates who will join the same committees in New York.

Overall, the TMUN was a memorable introduction to MUN, leaving us encouraged and prepared for future conferences.
